The focus of this program is one’s personal and inner transformation through the study and practice of the Buddha’s teachings.
Through a variety of learning and interactive approaches, which include video and audio teachings, readings, discussions, we gain understanding of profound and important Dharma concepts and begin to put them into practice.
NOTE: The 4th Thursday of each month is dedicated to studying Compassionate or Non-violent Communication, based on the work of Marshal Rosenberg.
Everyone is welcome to attend no matter your experience or level of practice. Arrive a few minutes early if you can. Chairs are available, as are meditation cushions - just choose the seating that works for you. Otherwise wear comfortable clothing, also you will need to remove your shoes, warm socks are recommended in the winter. If you think you may want to jot a few things down, then bring a notebook. The study program will be explained to you when you get there. There is no fee to attend, but offerings are gratefully accepted.
